| What do we want to do on the very first day of art? PAINT! I love to have my kiddos get painting and creating right away. When the kids entered the room I asked them a door question (I was holding a brown rectangle of construction paper) I asked "What shape is this?" What color is this?" We also read the book Monty's Magnificent Mane. Day one we glued down the brown rectangle and painted that mane. Day two, we learned about more shapes to create the eyes, nose and TEETH! |
