This summer my classroom received a lesson plan grant from the Handweavers Guild. www.weavespindye.org 1st graders are the lucky ones that experienced using African inspired Adinkra cloth http://www.pbs.org/wonders/Kids/cloth/cloth.htm that they printed on real fabric! We finished this beauty with a hand woven edge of raffia and a Kente cloth boarder. |
